In Eccles, Walkabout worked in partnership with the Residents’ Associations of three adjoining housing estates – Brookhouse, Westwood Park and New Lane .
As sport has such strong resources within the area and local team Salford Reds have a remit to develop opportunities for young people, Walkabout created Glow, a weekend of events where sport met the Arts. The aim of Glow was community cohesion; getting age ranges, communities and cultures to come together.
