Walkabout is managed by The Lowry, Salford through three key positions which provide a wealth of experience and skills to help facilitate project work with all partners and the communities involved, in a variety of artforms.

Graeme Urlwin - Walkabout Co-ordinator

Graeme has a long background of successful work working in partnership with voluntary, public and statutory sectors, and has been instrumental in bringing Walkabout to life after months of initial consultation with the Walkabout partners. His background is in drama, artistic direction and performance.

Chris Charles – Community Project Manager

Chris has experience as a project manager, workshop developer/ leader and as an artistic director. Over the past fifteen years he has worked closely with community, schools, secure estates and within adult education. Chris specialises in community centred projects that give expression to individuals and groups. Primarily a photographer and video artist, he combines his work as a conceptual artist with community outreach and development.

Kirstin Sillitoe – Community Project Manager
